Privacy Policy for Glowr
This privacy policy applies to the Glowr app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by GlowLab Apps (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Photo and Facial Analysis Information
What face data does the app collect? The Application uses your device camera to capture photos for aesthetic facial analysis. The photos you take are analyzed to evaluate facial features such as symmetry, proportions, and other aesthetic characteristics.
How is face data used? For the core diagnostic tools, photos are processed locally on your device using artificial intelligence algorithms to provide you with an aesthetic symmetry and facial harmony evaluation. The analysis focuses on mathematical visual characteristics for educational and self-improvement purposes only. We DO NOT collect, extract, or store biometric facial data, facial recognition templates, or any personally identifiable biometric information.
Third-Party AI Services (AI Chatbot) To provide the "Personal AI Advisor" feature, the Application utilizes third-party AI services (such as OpenAI).
What data is shared: When you interact with the AI Advisor, your text inputs (and photos, if specifically uploaded by you to the chat) are transmitted to the AI provider to generate a response.
Who the data is sent to: Data is processed securely by our AI service providers.
Purpose: To provide personalized grooming, style, and aesthetic advice based on your queries.
User Permission: The Application requests explicit consent before you first use the AI Advisor. You can opt-out by not using the Chat feature.
Is face data shared with third parties? Photos used for the main diagnostic tool are processed locally and are never uploaded to our servers. However, information and images you voluntarily provide to the AI Chatbot are transmitted to third-party AI providers to generate responses, as described above. We do not sell your facial analysis data to any third parties.
Where is face data stored? Diagnostic results (symmetry scores, recommendations) are stored locally on your device. The original photos are only temporarily kept in your device's local storage during the analysis session and are automatically deleted after processing. You maintain full control over your data.
How long is face data retained? Original photos are processed and deleted immediately after analysis. Analysis results (numeric scores and text recommendations) are retained on your device until you manually delete them or remove the Application.
Data Collection and Third-Party Access
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used? The Application stores analysis results, user preferences, and interaction history with the AI Advisor locally.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application? Yes. The Service Provider shares limited information with third-party providers for specific functional purposes:
AI Service Providers: Text and image inputs provided by the user to the AI Chatbot are processed by third-party AI services.
Analytics and Advertising: The Application uses the TikTok Business SDK and Google AdMob. These services may collect device identifiers (IDFA), usage data, and event information to measure ad effectiveness and provide personalized marketing. This collection only occurs if you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
Payment Processing: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. They process purchase data but do not have access to your facial analysis photos.
Account Deletion and Data Rights
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Profile screen: Profile > Account section > “Delete Account”. This will immediately and permanently remove all your analysis history and locally stored data.
Children
The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. You must be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country.
Security
We are committed to safeguarding your information. While diagnostic facial analysis occurs locally, information provided to the AI Chatbot is transmitted securely via encrypted channels (SSL/TLS) to our service providers. We implement administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new version.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-02-13 (Updated).
